As a patient, you expect to receive quality, comprehensive, and convenient care. In reality, it does not always happen. This dynamic discussion will display a variety of healthcare settings from the lens of a patient. Patients, caregivers, and providers will learn how to enhance the patient experience, and to prepare and advocate for better healthcare!
This is part of the UD Health Conversations in Healthcare, Prevention, and Wellbeing Series. This conversation series allows the community to talk to industry experts about a variety of topics. The goal of each event is to take the “clinical” out of the conversation. Audience members are encouraged to ask questions and share stories. The series, which runs throughout the 2018-2019 academic year, is moderated by Former Cabinet Secretary of the Delaware Department of Health and Social Services, Rita Landgraf.
These events are FREE and open to the general public, University of Delaware employees and students. All sessions take place from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and are held in the Audion at the Tower at STAR (100 Discovery Blvd, Newark, DE 19713).
